HTML5 Essentials

Course Description

HTML, the Hypertext Markup Language, is a set of predetermined tags, or syntax if you prefer, that helps describe the structure of a web page. We learn HTML so we know how to structure a web page, but in my opinion, knowing HTML is not coding per se. Like I said before, it is made up of a set of tags that we use when we use another programming language to generate web pages. HTML is equal to the steel and concrete columns and floors in the construction of a building. The structure is bare, maybe usable, but not comfortably, and definitely not the prettiest thing to look at.

Key Concepts Covered Include:

  • An easy and good start for the starters.
  • The basic tags used to give structure to text and format a page.
  • Well explained and comprehensive coverage.
